Drumheller, Ab.

This Reuben was a sneaky good one. We’d decided to have dinner at Vintage Tap House, as we were staying in Drumheller, and I was leaning towards the Greek Salad. But I noticed there was a Reuby. This is the struggle of living as one of the only Reuben reviewers out there… When you come across one, you feel compelled to eat it. Kinda one of those “With great power come great responsibilities” type of things. Speaking of great power. What an organic segway to the newest members of our working team! Coupla absolute units. Both named Sergei, although pronounced differently. One is like former NHL’er Sergei Fedorov, the other rhymes with Meat Tree. Regardless, between the two of these fellers I was introduced to them on a job where we needed to hand mix bags of concrete. It was a fairly big playground. In fact it was about 10 tonnes of concrete. That’s about 22 thousand Reubens. Anyway, the two Sergeis moved all that concrete from pallet to mixer, without a complaint. Just smiles and laughs. Well, come to think of it we have a pretty thick language barrier. So maybe they did complain. But they were smiling, and laughing. Maybe that was the smile and laughter barrier.

Regardless, these guys rule. Kinda like a Drumheller Reuben! Definitely worth a stop if you’re visiting the Dinosaur Capital of the World. Also if you need help moving 10 trucks, I know a few guys.

Slava Ukraine!
